Titantic  Charity Jewellery Auction

I was commissioned by our local Maryport Maritime Museum, to create a suite of Edwardian style Jewellery.

Which was auctioned as part of the From Maryport to Titanic Exhibition 2012. to raise funds for the Museum.

The jewellery was auctioned during The First class Titanic dinner at Maryport’s Wave Centre,

My Dreams of the Ocean collection is Edwardian with a modern twist, using colours of the sea as my Inspiration.

The centrepiece of the collection is the Dreams of the Ocean Swarovski pendant which is reminiscent of a blue Heart Diamond pendant worn by Kate Winslet’s character Rose in the James Cameron`s Titanic film.

Apparently the original was created for Louis XVI. I also found that a woman named Julie Florence wore it when she was a passenger on the Titanic. The character of Rose was loosely based on her.”

I also created a limited edition range of 10 charm bracelets featuring charms in honour of the captain, crew, musicians and passengers of Titanic.

The collection includes an Edwardian style hair comb, Bracelet, Velvert Choker and Earrings.
